About World Diabetes Day

World  Diabetes Day is on Sunday November 14.  This is the birthday of Dr. Frederick  Banting who discovered insulin in 1921 in London, Ontario.  This year  will be the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin. Organizations such as the  International Diabetes Federation, American Diabetes Association, JDRF  and many more around the World will be recognizing this day.
