Ride for a Cause with the Irvine Lions Club!
Join the Irvine Lions Club for a scenic bike ride to support children with diabetes. Starting at The Great Park in Irvine, participants can choose between a 10-mile or 20-mile route through the city’s beautiful trails and pathways.
Why Ride?
This event supports two vital causes. Funds will help send children with diabetes to summer camp, where they receive medical and nutritional education while connecting with others facing similar challenges. These camps provide life-changing experiences, but many families need financial assistance—this ride helps ensure no child is left behind.
Additionally, proceeds will help purchase equipment to screen for diabetic retinopathy, a serious diabetes complication that can lead to vision loss if not detected early. With the right tools, more people can access essential screenings and early intervention.
